Born in the country which doesn't exist anymore I spent the first years of my live as a common soviet child enjoying all benefits of our solid educational system in the late 80's. The birth of the Web caught me at my second year studying applied math and computer science at the Rostov State University. Inspired by Dmitry Kirsanov and Artemy Lebedev — the first Russian web design pioneers I have created my first website in 1998.
In 2002, after working for in several web design agencies and as a freelancer I moved to Germany. Here I spent several wonderful years working with the wonderful MDC Team on the banks of the middle Rhine learning not only the mighty German language but also the way of doing business in the Web. At this time there was also some space for my personal projects, one of them — Diorama.Ru. Founded together with my good friend Boris Kharlamov the project became one of the most popular scale modelling communities in the Web.
In April 2006 I've joined SAP and spent several years traveling over the world as a consultant exploring the mysterious world of large enterprise software. As a good UX finally paved its path becoming a competitive advantage in the enterprise world I have taken a position of UX Design Expert in SAP Walldorf working on the next generation of the business software user interfaces.
